Production Delivery Planning Engineer(A Group MLB_PE)-Houston,TX
Be responsible for make electronic products SMT or assembly production and shipping plan, coordinating cross-departmental resources, assess supply & shipping risks based on demand and relevant production & delivery resource factors, ensuring on-time to finish the delivery. Familiarity with ERP systems, import and export process, and strong execution skills are necessary to drive efficient collaboration between the manufacturing end and the supply chain, have a cost awareness to max shipping efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities
1.Demand and supply management
- Make and optimize monthly/weekly production plans & delivery plan based on customer demands, inventory data, and capacity constraints, raw material status to ensure timely order delivery.
- Monitor the delivery process, import/export matters, and adjust the schedule in real time to handle urgent orders or abnormal fluctuations, achieve shipping goals.
- Analyze production data (such as equipment utilization and labor efficiency), identify bottlenecks, and propose capacity improvement plans.
- Drive the optimization of ERP/MRP system (such as SAP) scheduling modules to enhance working efficiency. 3.Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality departments to ensure material supply, equipment tunning, and production line manpower match production needs. 4.Inventory Management
-Balance the inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to avoid material shortages or excessive inventory, ensuring costs remain within target ranges. 5.Strong sense of responsibility, with a strong team spirit, and able to balance team work distribution. Education and work experience
1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics
2. 3years of work experience in the electronics industry
- Office-based role, this position must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies and be available to work non-core hours or overtime to complete various projects without interruption to operations.
