Project Manager - Terminal / Chemical

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects within the terminal and storage sector. This role is based in the Galleria area of Houston, TX, with travel to project sites as required. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering background, extensive project management expertise, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of terminal and storage infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead projects using structured stage-gate processes, managing budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with diverse internal teams and external contractors to align on project goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Manage high-value projects, including ammonia-related infrastructure (preferred), with strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent).
• 15–20 years of project management experience within terminals, storage, or industrial infrastructure.
• Expertise in managing high-value projects and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards in the terminal/storage industry.
