Pay: $15–$16 per hour
Availability: Must be available between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7PM - 7AM
Schedule: Weekend shifts

Job Summary

At Home Helpers Home Care of Dallas provides compassionate, dependable in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance. We are seeking an experienced caregiver to support a client with personal care, daily living activities, and companionship in a private home setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and grooming

• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

• Provide medication reminders

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Transport client for errands as needed

• Follow each client’s individualized care plan

• Communicate clearly and professionally with family members and care team

• Accurately document daily activities and observations

• Perform additional caregiving duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience

• Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory care needs

• Comfortable working in a home with dogs

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

• Dependable, punctual, and reliable

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Ability to pass a 50-state background check and drug screening

Work Environment

Care is provided in the client’s private home. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and assisting with personal care.
