We're hiring an Industrial Assembly Technician (Wire Rope Splicing) for a well-established manufacturing company in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work using tools, reading measurements, assembling industrial products, and working in a production environment. Candidates with backgrounds in industrial maintenance, mechanical assembly, fabrication, rigging, welding, construction, manufacturing, offshore, or skilled trades are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

· Cut, fabricate, and assemble wire rope to customer specifications

· Install fittings including sockets, sleeves, hooks, thimbles, and other hardware

· Perform hand and mechanical wire rope splicing

· Operate production equipment including presses, swagers, cutters, and measuring devices

· Read production orders, manufacturing documents, and work instructions

• Inspect finished assemblies for quality, wear, defects, and compliance with company standards

· Set up and safely operate machinery and production equipment

· Select appropriate materials and hardware for each assembly

· Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records

· Assist with preventative maintenance of equipment

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools

· Ability to read measuring devices and follow work instructions

· Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Ability to stand for extended periods

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Valid Driver's License

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment

• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and reach throughout the day
