As a Facilities Technician I, you will: 

• Provide cleaning and basic facilities support to help maintain a safe, clean, and functional workplace
• Perform daily cleaning and minor maintenance support throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas daily in accordance with Workplace Safety Policies
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors and other surfaces; and shampoo carpets and rugs as needed
• Maintain and renew floor surface finishes
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris daily
• Dust and wax furniture, fixtures, doors, trim, and related furnishings
• Clean windows, glass doors, interior glass, partitions, frames, and pictures
• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean and sanitary condition
• Complete and maintain documentation for daily, weekly, and monthly facility and equipment checklists
• Perform minor repairs to fixtures and hardware (doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.)
• Assemble, disassemble, move, and install office furniture and fixtures
• Support occasional weekend work to minimize workplace disruption (e.g., carpet cleaning)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

You are a strong fit for this role if you have : 

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of custodial duties and janitorial duties
• Experience using cleaning equipment (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, applying floor finishes)
• Ability of maintaining facilities equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
• Must have availability to work early morning and/or evening hours as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Must be physically capable of performing custodial and facilities tasks daily
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
