Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours
Start Date: ASAP
About the Position
Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Contract Type: Travel / 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide full-cycle nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient response
- Care for patients with varying complexity, including OBED assignments if needed
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support care management
- Follow ANA Scope & Standards of Practice and hospital competency requirements

Requirements
- RN license: Texas or compact license required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred in L&D / perinatal nursing
- Certifications (required):
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NRP
- C-EFM or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- BSN preferred
- Completion of orientation + department competency validation required
