Essential Responsibilities:
Manages and supports implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives that drive operational excellence and standardization by creating and defining processes, procedures, tools, policies, communication, and metrics, and managing compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures.
Provides input into operating policies and procedures that promote best practices and standardization across the Company’s real estate portfolio, and assists in developing and implementing training, tools, and systems that ensures the integration of best practices into the operation of the centralized Resource Center.
Supports and manages work activities and acts as the key point of contact with various departments and team members and others as needed to successfully onboard communities to the new platform as required to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
Oversees operational success by ensuring that onboarded and optimized communities to the Resource Center are fully functional with Resource Center platforms.
Supports and manages the daily tasks of direct reports to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Ensures Company’s set KPIs are met and/or exceeded through regular tracking of property level metrics.
Communicates with and supports the onsite leaders, business managers and other support groups to resolve service and performance level issues, provide input for process improvement, and support strategic initiatives that enhance the products, services, and overall effectiveness of real estate operations.
Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, and answer questions about the property’s financial operation.
Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and employment documents.
Experience in using the Company’s property management applications (OneSite, Yardi, Entrata, Workday) is preferred.
Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions, and calculate percentages in order to validate and calculate payment information.
Demonstrated understanding of multifamily property operations and, in particular, of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
Employment history that demonstrates the application of multifamily property management, accounting, and customer service background sufficient to assist in managing the day-to-day operation of multiple apartment communities, resolve customer complaints and issues, and complete financial records, documents, and reports.
College degree in related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Minimum of three years of property management or other related experience preferred.
Preferred Leadership & Operational Experience:
Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience in multifamily operations, community management, or similar high-volume environments.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, with experience driving accountability and engagement.
Strong data acumen with a track record of driving performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
Demonstrated ability to bring structure and consistency through process improvement and standardization.
Physical Demands:
Incumbents must be able to view computer screens, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.
Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to ten (10) pounds independently and twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.
Incumbents may be required to perform physical actions such as bending, stooping, crawling, and work in other positions necessary to accomplish the installation of computer systems and equipment.
Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Additional Compensation :
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
