Southern Health Partners has been a trusted leader in correctional healthcare for 30 years. Our medical unit is safe, secure, and staffed with experienced nurses—no back-office shuffle, just true clinical care delivered where it’s needed most.

We’re seeking an independent contractor (MD, NP, or PA) to provide light weekly oversight and clinical visits—just 2 hours a week —with on-call availability for our nursing team. It’s a rewarding opportunity to practice primary care, collaborate with dedicated correctional and medical staff, and contribute to a healthier community.

What You’ll Do

• Visit the facility to review care, see patients, prescribe medications, and make referrals

• Countersign orders and chart notes as needed

• Support and model high standards of care while guiding medical staff

• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with all privacy laws

What You’ll Need

• Clear background check for security clearance

• Current licensure appropriate to your discipline

• Experience in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine preferred
