About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join one of our clients - a renowned interior architecture and workplace design firm recognized for creating forward-thinking environments that empower people to thrive.

This on-site position in Houston is ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional who thrives on leading complex design projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring creative teams from concept through construction.

Salary Range : $85,000 - $96,000 (based on experience)

What You'll Do

  • Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across all phases of design and construction.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring proactive communication and long-term satisfaction.
  • Coordinate efforts among designers, consultants, engineers, and contractors to achieve design, budget, and scheduling goals.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prepare and present project reports, fee proposals, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement in project management tools and processes.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or demonstrated experience in interior commercial construction.
  • 15+ years of related industry experience, including 5+ years managing interior architecture projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Dynamics, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Strong leadership, organization, and client management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities both verbal and written.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and interior construction practices.
  • Experience with sustainable design practices; LEED/WELL certification preferred.
  • Professional, collaborative, and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Must work in the office 3 days a week or more.
