Associate Business Developer
Position Summary
The Associate Business Developer is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new business opportunities to support the company’s growth goals. This role focuses on building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients for all service lines, ensuring smooth handoff to the business development and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and engage potential clients in targeted commercial sectors (e.g., property management firms, developers, corporate campuses, and large HOAs).
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting efforts including walk-ins, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop, maintain, and update a database of prospects in CRM software.
- Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to refine target client profiles and messaging.
- Schedule appointments and introductory meetings for the business development team.
- Track and report on lead generation activities and key performance metrics.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and opportunities in the commercial landscape industry.
- Ensure a seamless prospect experience by staying actively involved throughout the sales cycle on all self-generated leads.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in lead generation, sales, or business development support, preferably in commercial services, construction, or related industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the Fort Worth/DFW commercial real estate or construction markets is a plus.
