Principal Software Engineer -IAM

Position Summary: <\/span><\/span>

The Principal Software Engineer is responsible for identification and development enterprise solutions. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Principal Duties: <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Design, architect, and implement secure authentication and authorization solutions <\/span><\/span><\/b> using Identity and Access Management (IAM)<\/b> principles to enable Single Sign\-On (SSO) and secure access for internal and external applications, platforms, and APIs. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Lead the implementation of modern identity standards <\/span><\/span><\/b> , including OpenID Connect (OIDC)<\/b> and OAuth 2.0<\/b> , supporting a variety of use cases such as web applications, mobile applications, B2B integrations, and service\-to\-service communication. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Build and maintain enterprise\-grade integrations with Okta <\/span><\/span><\/b> , enabling application onboarding, federation, and secure access to protected resources in alignment with organizational identity standards. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Partner closely with architecture, platform, security, and product teams <\/span><\/span><\/b> to define and evolve standard authentication and authorization patterns, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security across the enterprise. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Document identity architectures, integration patterns, and operational guidance <\/span><\/span><\/b> , enabling development teams and platform teams to efficiently onboard applications and troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Responsible for one or more applications, working with Business Systems Manager and Business Analyst counterparts on planning and delivering code changes to production, ensuring teams work on schedule <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Provide business and project expertise when collaborating with clients, IT resources, vendors, consultants and other stakeholders to identify the user requirements, assess technologies, recommend and implement technical solutions. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Participate in estimation process. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Responsible for source code development; create technical documentation; utilize software configuration, version and quality management processes. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Responsible for unit testing, performance tuning, defect remediation during testing, and deployment planning <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Participate in Production Support Escalation if necessary for high\-severity issues within their application domain <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Can analyze, design and develop complex programming systems independently. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Chair Agile Team meetings <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
  
  
• Performs related duties as assigned by management. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>

  Education and Experience <\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>
  
  

  
  
  • Master’s degree in a technical field + 3 years of work experience or bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 5 years related experience. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
    
    
  • Experience designing, architecting, and implementing secure authentication and authorization solutions using IAM, SSO, OIDC, SAML, Oauth2<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
    
    
  • Experience developing software for the US mortgage industry. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
