Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts for a variety of positions across the organization. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, source qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring timelines.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare and extend employment offers while assisting with pre-employment processes.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements to increase hiring efficiency.
- Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure hiring practices remain compliant with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Previous recruiting experience within construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, healthcare, or a high-volume environment preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and sourcing platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions while meeting hiring deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
