Accounts Receivable Specialist

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST NEEDED ASAP!!!

ONSITE: DALLAS, TX | $26-28/HR | TEMP-TO-HIRE

Imprimis Group has partnered with a prestigious company in Dallas, TX, and they have an immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a self-starter and would like to showcase their skills with a growing team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for daily credit and collection operations.
• Daily cash receipts and invoice posting and reconciliation with bank statement.
• Set up and inactivate Sales Rep accounts.
• Work with other departments to analyze consignment inventory.
• Review orders and work with other departments concerning orders on hold.
• Run credit checks for new accounts.
• Prepare monthly commission and quarterly bonus reports.
• Prepare manual invoices.
• Analyze and reconcile sample accounts for each Sales Rep.
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Prepare and analyze customer aging reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Compile month end and year end AR reports.
• Complete other projects as required.
• Assist in other areas of the Accounting Department as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounts receivable experience required including solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner.
• Competent computer skills to perform essential functions including strong Excel (reporting and analysis is a must), Microsoft AvidXchange – AX highly preferred, or similar.
