HSE Specialist
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with employees, supervisors, and management across all sites
- Foster buy-in for HSE initiatives by demonstrating expertise, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
- Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Stay current on evolving HSE regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends
- Consistently model safe and environmentally responsible behavior in all actions and decisions
- Respond promptly and effectively to HSE concerns, incidents, and emergency situations
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, visibility, and leadership
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred) OR Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a similar role .
- Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience , ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to real-world operational challenges
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable delivering safety presentations and training sessions to various audiences
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to company facilities as needed
- Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) are highly desirable
