Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Position Summary:
The primary function of this position is to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers in support of identifying, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates who meet project-specific needs and applicable federal and state requirements.
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter I supports this work through hands-on recruiting and administrative activities such as sourcing assistance, screening coordination, interview scheduling, onboarding, and compliance processing.
This entry-level role emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and process execution while providing exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle within a structured, fast-paced environment. Position Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews to identify qualified candidates for corporate or project specific needs.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support contingent offer processes in alignment with federal/state regulations.
- Manage employment requisitions, ensuring accurate review, edits, and approvals.
- Track, analyze, and report staffing data using Microsoft Office and other software tools.
- Lead redeployment efforts through proactive communication with employees nearing assignment end dates.
- Execute all administrative and compliance steps of the hiring process, including background checks, drug/health screens, I 9 and E Verify, and employment paperwork.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring accurate data entry, timely updates, and complete documentation for all candidate and employee transactions.
- Coordinate and track internal employee transfers across multiple sites, maintaining real time status updates and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and labor requirements.
- Follow up with hiring managers, and employees to gather information, close workflow gaps, and ensure timely completion of hiring and transfer activities.
- Draft and manage internal communications related to transfers, onboarding, status updates, and employee notifications.
- Perform quality checks on employee files, transfer documents, requisitions, and system entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support internal mobility and redeployment by tracking end dates, updating pipelines, and coordinating employee outreach.
- Use Excel, ATS dashboards, and internal templates to generate reports on hiring activity, transfer metrics, and administrative processes.
- Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System.
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
- High level of customer service.
- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related sourcing/recruiting administrative experience.
- Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP
- Experience in: Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries.
- Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
- May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
