Purpose:

To set and achieve productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting standards for quality control and inspect inventory. Strategize inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, rearranging containers for improved efficiency. Ensure all safety protocols are being followed by staff.

General Description:

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
• Communicate with corresponding parties to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
• Uses forklift to load and unload, stack materials or products.
• Prepares shipping or receiving reports and records of any shortages or damages.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or three months relevant experience in warehouse environment.
• Associates degree in business operations, supply chain management, procurement or another related field.
• Forklift Operation Certification and valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC skills.
• Requires ability to read and write English at a basic level.
