Executive Director, Digital Enterprise Architect
8. Actively motivates and mentors staff providing appropriate guidance, feedback and evaluation. Fosters growth and high morale. Plans for appropriate staffing levels, recruits high quality staff and allocates effort across prioritized projects and tasks
9. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Required: Bachelor's level education in computer science, information systems, management, or relevant field.
Preferred: Master's or doctoral level education. Experience: Required:
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in technical leadership and managerial experience in information technology, to include 5 years of leadership experience.
• Extensive technical knowledge of current information technology and applications.
• Knowledge of RFP and grant development.
• Demonstrated experience in technical evaluation, implementation, and program development. Must be able to analyze and assess technologies across missions and programs.
• Demonstrated capabilities in developing a collaborative approach to technical program development.
• Demonstrated experience developing technology policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide technical and educational leadership to all staff. Must be able to communicate effectively the capabilities and limitations of information technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate a lead diverse and sophisticated technical staff Preferred:
• Technical leadership and managerial experience in an academic or health care setting and in-depth knowledge and experience in computer use in medical colleges, universities, and/or other healthcare institutions preferred.
