Senior Business Analyst (TANS / Child Nutrition Programs)

The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring accurate requirement gathering and successful delivery of solutions aligned with federal child nutrition program guidelines .
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Ensure requirements align with federal child nutrition program regulations (TDA)
- Support Agile/Scrum processes , including sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood
- Analyze system impacts and support solution design discussions
- Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for TANS-related systems
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong experience in user story creation and requirement analysis
- Experience working as a bridge between business and IT teams
- Hands-on experience with Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS)
- Experience writing requirements in compliance with federal child nutrition programs (TDA)
