Job Title: Division 8 Estimator – Comsense Experience

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
Industry: Commercial Construction (Division 8 – Doors, Frames & Hardware)

We are a well-established, fast-growing commercial subcontractor specializing in Division 8 (doors, frames, and hardware) solutions across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our team is driven by precision, reliability, and a commitment to top-tier service. As demand grows, we're looking to bring on an experienced Division 8 Estimator who’s skilled in Comsense and ready to hit the ground running.

The Division 8 Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial door, frame, and hardware projects. This individual must be proficient in Comsense (Advantage and Enterprise), understand construction documents, and have a deep knowledge of Division 8 specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate takeoffs.
• Use Comsense to create detailed estimates and proposals.
• Collaborate with sales and project management to ensure accurate scope coverage.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for current pricing and availability.
• Track bid deadlines and maintain organized bid documentation.
• Participate in bid reviews and scope meetings when needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, code requirements, and product updates.

• Minimum 3 years of experience estimating Division 8 scopes (doors, frames, hardware).
• Required: Proficient in Comsense Advantage and Enterprise .
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction documents and specifications.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Familiarity with DFW construction market a plus.
