Regional Manager
Equix Energy Services is an energy and utilities contractor that provides high-quality pipeline and facility construction services. The Equix team is built on pride in the workmanship and abilities of our crews. Our Core group of in-house welders have extensive knowledge and background in pipeline and fabrication welding.The Regional Manager will provideadministrative support to projectpursuits by collecting and assembling bid documentation regarding subcontractor quotes, vendor pricing, and insurance information to ensure compliance with all contractual and bid requirements.At Equix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, Gas Distribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction and Fabrication, and Trenching services. Responsibilities: Responsible for AP/AR management and analysis of general ledger accounts and reconciliation on a regular basis Perform month-end and year-end closing Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and customers to resolve discrepancies while paying and collecting payments Set up new vendors and suppliers Review and streamline the process of the invoicing cycle Oversee AP and AR to ensure payables are made timely and accurately, receivables are billed appropriately, and bank reconciliations are finalized each month Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and job costing along with revenue recognition and customer billing. Review company financial reports monthly to close out the month and ensure all information is being entered and tracked appropriately Assist with Asset Management by tracking new equipment and vehicles and obtaining proper insurance coverage Understand the flow of work through Viewpoint software, extract and analyze reports, and troubleshoot issues with the program Call in locates Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and subcontractors Organize, track and manage business and contractor licensing Follow up on past-due payments Other duties as assigned. Requirements: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or other relevant administrative support position. We have a current opening for a Regional Manager that will handle our Southeast market. Responsibilities: Execute on strategic regional initiatives, developed in conjunction with the executive leadership Travel will be required to client, project, and Equix locations as needed Effectively interact with clients and other stakeholders Client relationship development and management with support from Business Development, but will be a self-starter Contract negotiations with appropriate peer levels in client organizations Strong leadership skills and ability to build effective and cohesive teams, aligned with the Equix Core Values and Culture Regular interaction with Executive Leadership Team Interacting with external supply chain, including subcontractor partners, equipment fleet and material vendors, etc Build and lead teams of project resources, including technical and construction resources Support and encourage a safety culture that aligns with Equix safety initiatives Drive for innovation and continuous improvement Responsible to ensure that estimating and bidding activities are thoroughly executed Driving for results deliver KPI's in line with balanced scorecard targets Ensure business unit team member compliance with company policies in all aspects of the business Oversee, train, and distribute work to Technician I, and II's Weekly overnight travel may be required The work will involve leading teams that will: Be responsible for safely installing and troubleshooting the power, fiber, coax cable, and Small Cell/DAS on outdoor and in-building sites - expert in basic telecom installation best practices and blueprint/schematic reading. Working at height will be required Bucket trucks, man lifts, ladders Physically placing, removing, or modifying working and non-working equipment Perform testing and quality of installation verification via closeout documentation Assist customer with test and turn-up of their network Perform troubleshooting activities directed by customer network operations center Act as a customer contact. Interface with customers, local supervisors, and project managers to clarify project status Analyze and plan installation activities to meet schedule dates and budgeted hours Perform computer-based tasks in the Microsoft Office suite and post processing software for testing platforms. Perform work in both team and individual environments. Ability to be on-call for after-hours maintenance will be discussed on an individual basis and will lead to increased overtime hours.
