Maintenance Technician – Texas Markets

SpinXpress is one of the fastest-growing laundromat operators in the industry, operating modern, high-volume locations that serve thousands of customers each week. As we continue expanding across Texas, we are looking for a Traveling Maintenance Technician to support multiple markets throughout the state.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for addressing facility-related maintenance requests submitted through the company’s ticketing system by store teams and District Managers. This role requires frequent travel throughout Texas and demands strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize maintenance needs based on urgency and operational impact.

This position is focused on general facility maintenance and does not involve direct washer or dryer repair. The technician will maintain building systems and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized or large-scale repairs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve facility maintenance requests across multiple Texas locations
• Prioritize service calls and travel schedules based on business needs and urgency
• Perform routine facility repairs and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with third-party contractors for specialized repair services
• Maintain safe, clean, and fully operational store environments
• Communicate effectively with store leadership and management teams
• Track and document completed work through the company ticketing system

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $40,000 annually
• Performance Incentives: Up to $5,000 annually

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Travel required throughout Texas markets
• Typically Monday through Friday
• Occasional emergency, after-hours, or weekend calls may be required

$40,000 annually

• Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District Managers
• Plan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workload
• Handle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc)
• Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement, and other cosmetic facility repairs
• Troubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractors
• Keep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing system
• Communicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issues
• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets company standards

• Experience in facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairs
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple maintenance requests using a ticketing system
• Proven track record of responding promptly to urgent maintenance issues
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with employees, managers, and contractors
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel across Texas regions, organizing trips based on workload and urgency
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of completed maintenance tasks
