Maintenance Technician

Wilsonart Engineered Surfaces currently has an opening for a Boiler Operator. This individual will oversee proper and efficient operations of the boiler, air compressors, chillers, water systems, etc. at our industrial manufacturing plant.

LOCATION: Temple, TX

HOURS: Schedule is 3 on, 2 off. You will be working 12 hr shifts.

Starting Pay, $24 an hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare the boiler room for plant operations and shut downs.

* Monitor the boiler pressure, water levels, and temperature of all machinery within the boiler area.

* Respond to all system alarms.

* Maintain the log and records on all gauge readings.

* Shut the system down for maintenance work, then bring it back on line.

* Monitor and control all boiler house functions (boilers, air compressors, chillers and dust collectors, etc.).

* Monitor and control Hydrotherm water storage and cooling towers.

REQUIREMENTS

* High school diploma or GED

* 2 years of mechanical maintenance or boiler room experience preferred.

* Job will involve tasks that require pushing/pulling, lifting, and handling materials of 50 pounds

* Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (3 on, 2 off schedule)
