Senior Project Manager
Your impact
As a Senior Project Manager in our Buildings & Infrastructure practice, you’ll lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that shape communities across Texas. You’ll bring together multi-disciplinary teams, drive client success, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and to Jacobs’ high standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, building strong, trusted relationships
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, and specialty consultants)
- Drive project execution strategies, staffing plans, and resource allocation
- Oversee quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and ensure compliance with Jacobs standards
- Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and change management
- Support business development, including proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations
- Mentor and develop project managers and junior staff
- Ensure alignment with sustainability goals, safety practices, and regulatory requirements
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 12+ years of experience managing complex A/E or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles, contracts, and delivery methods (e.g., Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build)
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ideally you’ll also have:
- Professional licensure (RA, PE, PMP, or CCM) strongly preferred
- Experience in sectors such as commercial, civic, healthcare, higher education, or science & technology
- Familiarity with sustainable design and construction practices (LEED or similar)
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
- Established client relationships in the Austin or Central Texas

119,800.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
187,250.00

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.
The base salary range for this position is $119,800.00 to $187,250.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
