The mission of our HR Generalist is to ensure that all employees receive 5 Star Service throughout every aspect of their employment life cycle. This person will partner with their HR Business Partner, Human Resources at HQ, and their local General Managers to ensure a consistent and thriving employee experience at the local level.

Job Duties:

• On-boarding & Off-boarding: facilitate all aspects from employee interaction to administrative tasks and functions at the local level.
• Insurance Benefits & 401k: oversee employees' enrollment and termination process. Act as liaison between employee and broker to field questions. Educate employees on qualifying events and other information needed.
• Handle employee relation issues, including but not limited to pay, harassments, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, performance. improvement
• Support the local General Managers by partnering with them to understand their goals for the business and its strengths and opportunities.
• Track and respond to all unemployment claims. Act as company representative for any necessary communication and hearings. Communicate with HQ about issues, collaborate for solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you need:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a human resources role
• Experience working in the home services industry is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• Clear, kind, and energetic presence with candidates
• Excellent organizational skills
