LVN - PRN NIGHTS
Position Purpose
The LVN is responsible for:
Providing direct patient care to patients
Supervising care treatment and services of patient care provided by CNA's
Developing, implementing and evaluating an individual plan of care for each patient
Following an individual plan of care for each patient
Assessment and reassessment of patients
Communicating appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team
Reporting patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner
Position Requirements
License or Certification:
Current Texas State licensure as a LVN
CPR Certification (ACLS preferred)
Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience:
One year experience in a comprehensive medical/surgical hospital setting preferred
Critical care experience in a hospital setting preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak, read, write adn comprehend English
Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal arenas
Ability to work independently without supervision
