Credit/Collections Specialist
- Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Credit Administration: Process credit applications, gather essential documentation (bank/trade references, credit reports), and maintain vital credit files.
- Account Management: Reach out to customers with past-due accounts, negotiate alternative payment plans, and successfully recover delinquent balances.
- Customer Support: Independently resolve routine to complex billing disputes and payment discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Analyze historical data to spot trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions to improve workflows.
- Financial Operations: Track payment commitments, document collection activities, and assist with cash applications.

- Manage day-to-day B2B collections activities for a regional commercial portfolio of 200 accounts.
- Execute a high-volume workflow of at least 25 proactive customer touches daily via phone, email, and digital tools.
- Drive portfolio performance to maintain a 90% "current" standing and systematically reduce past-due accounts over 10 days to less than 10%.
- Research, reconcile, and resolve billing discrepancies for regional clients, including small businesses and public school systems.
- Utilize the internal DMS platform (AS400-based system) and Get Paid ERP to download invoices, review statements, and log meticulous account notes.
- Partner with banking systems (PNC) and internal teams to streamline payment applications.
