Middle School Secretary
: As the Middle School Secretary, you will be an integral part of our educational community, providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the school. You will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, and will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.Direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or location within the school.Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.Student Support: Assist students with attendance-related matters, including late arrivals and early dismissals.Maintain accurate records of student attendance and communicate with parents/guardians regarding absences or tardiness.Provide administrative support for student registration and enrollment processes.Administrative Tasks: Manage the principal's calendar and schedule appointments and meetings as needed.Assist with the preparation and distribution of school-related materials, such as newsletters, announcements, and event flyers.Maintain and update student records and other confidential documents in compliance with school policies and regulations.Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between teachers, staff, students, and parents/guardians, relaying messages and facilitating communication as necessary.Coordinate logistics for school events, meetings, and conferences, including room reservations, catering, and equipment setup.Office Management: Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office space, including filing systems and storage areas.Assist with the coordination of substitute teachers and manage substitute teacher schedules.
