Attorney - Commercial Real Estate 67186

Our client, a full service Austin law firm, seeks a mid-level attorney with commercial real estate experience to join their team. The Real Estate Attorney will have extensive experience handling sophisticated commercial transactions, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage client relationships in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. Responsibilities

• Represent clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and development agreements
• Advise on title and survey matters and coordinate due diligence reviews
• Work with lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans
• Support complex entity structuring and joint venture transactions
• Collaborate with team members across practice areas to deliver strategic and efficient solutions

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 4+ years of commercial real estate experience, ideally gained in a law firm or sophisticated in-house setting
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating key real estate transaction documents
• Experience handling title and survey review, closings, and financing documentation
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clients
