Telco AI Engineer/USA

You will join our telecom engineering team as a RAN Engineer, contributing to the automation of telecom processes within Tupl’s platform. Your expertise in cellular networks (4G required, 5G is a plus) and deep knowledge of telecom business processes will be essential in capturing, digitalizing, and automating telecom operations. Below are the basic job duties for you:

• Capture and digitalize telecom operators’ processes within Tupl’s system to enable automation.
• Analyze customer and vendor documentation to define specifications for Tupl’s software development team.
• Leverage telecom industry knowledge to contribute to the definition and improvement of Tupl’s telco applications.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze telecom network data, identifying trends and opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure effective integration of telecom knowledge into software solutions.

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of RAN technologies (4G required, 5G is a plus). Understanding of other domains like transport or core networks is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in the telecom industry, with a strong understanding of operators’ pain points, processes, and organizational structures.
• Experience in basic statistics, data modeling, and ML applications within telecom.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate telecom business needs into clear automation requirements.

• Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity/experience managing major vendors’ equipment, such as Nokia, Ericsson, or Huawei.
  • Experience with Python, Linux shell scripting, and Git for automation and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with AI applications in telecom
