Pre - Production Designer

Our retail client is looking for a freelance designer to create pre-production layout files for retail artwork. This project focuses on creating accurate layout templates based on provided engineering files, which the client will then use to build final artwork.

This is an fully remote opportunity, with ongoing hours varying during the summer. Candidates in CST or EST are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Use provided engineering files to build layout templates
• Create accurate layouts showing size, scale, and product placement
• Follow a provided example to ensure consistency
• Final layouts will be used by the client to create artwork (no final artwork required)

Requirements:

• Experience working from engineering or technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (or similar)
• Experience with retail displays or fixtures is a plus
