Position Overview As an HVAC Project Manager , you will oversee commercial HVAC projects ranging from $2M to $10M+ , from preconstruction through closeout . You’ll coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and trade partners.
This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a background in mechanical contracting, commercial construction, or HVAC project management .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost control to ensure profitability
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
• Communicate regularly with owners, engineers, general contractors, and internal leadership
• Lead project meetings and provide timely progress reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Project Manager in commercial or institutional construction
• Proven knowledge of HVAC systems , mechanical codes , and construction best practices
• Experience managing projects in healthcare, higher education, government, or large commercial sectors preferred
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project , or similar software tools
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
