The ED Nursing Director will oversee a dynamic emergency department and related emergency care locations serving patients around the clock. Reporting to a senior hospital executive, the Director of Emergency Care Services will receive support from experienced nursing leaders, physicians, advanced practice providers, educators, quality specialists, and operational partners. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, performance management, policy development, patient experience, safety, throughput, and compliance. The Emergency Department Director will lead friendly nurses and a diverse team of healthcare professionals while strengthening collaboration with pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, respiratory therapy, case management, and other essential services.
