Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extendable)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced RightAngle ETRM Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong technical orientation to support, enhance, and integrate RightAngle Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on technical expertise along with solid functional understanding of energy trading, logistics, risk, and settlements.

Key Responsibilities

*Lead technical design, development, customization, and support of RightAngle ETRM modules.
*Develop and customize RightAngle components including:
*Deals, Scheduling, Settlements, Pricing, Risk, and Credit
*Design and implement interfaces and integrations between RightAngle and external systems (ERP, Market Data, Scheduling, Accounting).
*Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.
*Work extensively with RightAngle APIs, batch jobs, services, and data models.
*Perform data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
*Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term fixes.
*Collaborate with business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
*Support UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
*Prepare technical documentation and follow best practices for change management.
*Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and provide technical leadership.

Technical Skills (Must Have)
*Strong hands-on experience with RightAngle ETRM (v10.x / v11.x preferred)

Expertise in:
*SQL Server / Oracle databases
*PL/SQL / T-SQL
*RightAngle data model and schema
*Experience with RightAngle services, batch framework, and custom extensions
*Strong understanding of interfaces, file-based and API integrations
*Knowledge of market data feeds (pricing curves, indices)
*Experience with data conversion and reporting
*Functional Knowledge (Good to Have)
*Energy commodities: Crude, Natural Gas, Refined Products, Power

Understanding of:
*Physical & financial trading
*Scheduling & logistics
*Risk management (PnL, VaR)
*Settlements & invoicing
*Credit & exposure
*Familiarity with front, middle, and back-office workflows

Required Experience & Qualifications
*10+ years of experience in ETRM/CTRM implementations
*6+ years of hands-on RightAngle technical experience
*Prior experience in oil & gas or energy trading organizations
*Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication skills for onsite client interaction
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment

Nice to Have

*Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle Financials)
*Exposure to cloud environments or system modernization projects
*Prior onsite experience with US energy trading clients
