Job Summary:
The Restaurant Server is responsible for creating a positive and memorable dining experience for all guests. This includes managing assigned tables, taking food and drink orders accurately, delivering items promptly, processing payments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Responsibilities:
Provide detailed information about menu items, make recommendations, and answer guest questions about food and beverages.
Accurately take food and drink orders and clearly communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
Check in with guests periodically to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and service.
Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions.
Cleans and resets tables and dining areas, paying close attention to sanitation and order.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other servers to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer complaints and address concerns with a positive and customer-oriented attitude.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, which may include tasks like rolling cutlery or polishing glasses.
