We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team in Midland, Texas. This role requires expertise in financial management and general office support, including welcoming clients and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in bookkeeping software and Excel, with a background in oil and gas accounting considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Perform accurate bank reconciliations and ensure timely month-end closings.
• Process payroll and maintain employee records in compliance with company standards.
• Utilize Excel and QuickBooks to analyze and organize financial data.
• Assist with oil and gas accounting tasks, leveraging specialized software when applicable.
• Greet clients in a courteous and friendly manner, providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data entry is precise and up-to-date.
• Support the team with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of oil and gas accounting and related software is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and month-end closing procedures.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to provide exceptional client service.
