Job Summary
As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth flow of service while collaborating closely with the restaurant staff to provide exceptional hospitality. Requirements
- 2+ years of OpenTable experience "Running the Board" as the Lead Host/Hostess
- Full availability (35-40 hours per week)
- Immediate start availability
- Long term employment expectation
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
- Assist guests with inquiries about restaurant policies.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed to enhance their dining experience.
- Strong hospitality background with a focus on guest services.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
- A passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in restaurants or hotel environments is a plus.
