COTA Job Requirements – Texas Healthcare Jobs

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA (new grads and CFY welcome to apply)
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Experience with Rehab Optima preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to complete all credentialing requirements (background checks, references, drug screening, etc.)

Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation therapy to patients in a hospital setting
• Implement individualized treatment plans and accurately document patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide compassionate clinical support and patient care throughout the rehabilitation process
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
