Clean Room/Architectural Construction Coordinator-Semiconductor

JOB TITLE: Construction Coordinator Architecture/Cleanroom 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Regular architectural inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and customer contract documents
  • Work with key stakeholders to plan and organize activities concerned with construction projects; discuss such matters as work procedures, design, and quality issues
  • The Architectural Coordinator is the focal point for all field activities on the assigned docks and elevators including tools and materials entering and leaving assigned buildings. This involves planning and coordination of tool move activities. As well as coordinating the installation of clean floors, walls, and ceilings. Also included is daily interaction with project scheduling staff, tool procurement staff, FAT PM’s and CC’s, tool owners, OM’s and Base build PM’s and CC’s.

  • Owns driving Tool Move-In Teams to an Injury & Incident Free Work Environment.

  • Work with dock scheduler to review and resolve dock and move conflicts and issues.

  • Tool Move Coordination
  • Work with Functional Area Teams (“FAT”), Tool Owners, Suppliers, CC’s, and trades to ensure proper movement of tools
  • Know when trades are scheduled to begin work, when each milestone is and what current status is for all trades.
  • Coordination between tool installation and base build dock usage.
  • Review all upcoming dock usage, coordinate work to be completed, review and resolve dock and Move-In conflicts
  • Field Supervision

  • Take ownership of problems immediately.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in construction and inspection standards related to reinforced concrete and masonry structures
  • Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and current code requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years Architectural experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in the Semiconductor Industry
  • Professional Certificate or Journeyman Carpenter experience preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of Clean Room builds
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant codes and standards
  • Semiconductor experience required

  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
  • Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
