Legal Billing Specialist
Houston, Texas
A well-respected law firm is seeking a Legal Biller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal billing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and finalize client invoices accurately and timely
- Submit invoices through e-billing platforms (e.g., Aderant, Elite/3E, BillBlast, E-Billing Hub, Prebill Viewer)
- Track, resolve, and follow up on billing discrepancies or rejections
- Maintain accurate billing records and reports
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and staff regarding billing inquiries
- Assist with rate approvals, adjustments, and time entry review
Qualifications:
- Prior legal billing experience required (law firm environment preferred)
- Proficiency with legal billing software (Aderant or Elite/3E strongly preferred)
