Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Irving, TX. In this leadership role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, process optimization, and business insights that support company growth and efficiency.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Lead and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes to maintain financial integrity.
• Oversee journal entries and ensure precise record-keeping for all transactions.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Guide the annual audit process by preparing reports and coordinating with auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls by developing and implementing improved accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide strategic financial insights and support business initiatives.
• Support leadership in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across financial operations.
• Lead special projects and provide expert guidance in financial decision-making.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant, retail, or multi-site consumer business.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and advanced Excel functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide financial decisions.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities for managing multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively across departments.
