Siemens Fort Worth is seeking a Manufacturing Training Specialist to join our expanding team. This individual will be responsible for initiating and deploying the Training Department to work on specific initiatives for the Product line and support functions. The role involves analyzing training needs, designing and developing content, defining measurement strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, and managing business-wide tracking of all training.
The individual will need to exercise a high level of independent judgment and discretion while evaluating, designing, coordinating, and delivering a comprehensive range of learning and education programs for internal employees. This requires interacting with all levels of staff, gaining a thorough understanding of the business and its products, collaborating with various internal and external business partners, and continually seeking opportunities to enhance employees’ knowledge and professional development.
You will make an impact by:
- Participate in Training strategy throughout the organization to develop curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Execute training plans and curriculum that align with the department and individual business objectives
- Designs, develops, evaluates, and updates training content, materials, manuals, tests, and related training aids to ensure optimum effectiveness
- Maximize the training methods and tools based on assessment and/or specified training needs, including individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, meetings, eLearning, workshops, refreshers, in-person, virtual, and/or self-study.
- Manages administrative functions necessary to deliver, document, and track training programs. This includes scheduling, employee notification, and arranging for facility set-up.
- Prepares and reports on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness
- Develops train-the-trainer programs where applicable
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as an educator or a trainor in a manufacturing environment.
- A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
- Working knowledge of and experience with learning management systems.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within scope, on time, and on budget.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and plan for obstacles or barriers to learning and performance support solutions.
- Proficient computer skills, including Outlook and MS Office (e.g., O365, SharePoint, Forms, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continutal and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
