Home Plate Mortgage is seeking a skilled Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

The Work:

At Home Plate Mortgage, Loan Officers are trained to listen, build rapport, understand, and analyze the full financial situations of our customers. Our goal is to provide the most appropriate financial solutions to meet each client's specific needs.

The Person:

1. Mortgage experience preferred.
2. Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
3. NMLS # and Licensed in the State of Texas
4. Communication skills: Must have excellent communication skills to explain complex financial terms and mortgage loan options to clients.
5. Attention to detail: Must pay close attention to details, as even small errors can result in significant financial consequences for clients.
6. Financial analysis skills: Must have strong financial analysis skills to evaluate the financial status of clients and determine their eligibility for mortgage loans.
7. Teamwork skills: Must be able to work well in a team environment, collaborating with other loan officers, underwriters, and processors to ensure that loans are processed efficiently and accurately.
8. Problem-solving skills: Must be able to identify and resolve problems that may arise during the loan process, such as issues with credit reports or documentation.
