Senior Learning and Development Consultant
As a Senior Learning and Development Consultant with a strong emphasis in design and production, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills, capabilities, and business optimization for LPL's clients across affiliation models through the creation and delivery of high-impact training and educational programs. You will leverage your expertise and experience in learning methodologies and technology solutions to create tailored educational experiences that foster business growth and improve operational efficiency. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about continuous improvement and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Essential Functions include contributing to retaining and growing Advisor Practices and Institutions by providing content and education on LPL Financial technology and back-office processing in a way that resonates with clients and drives efficiency gains in their daily operations and back-office management.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs that align with LPL Financial's strategic goals and address the learning needs of diverse audiences.
Serve as a subject matter expert on LPL Financial's technology offerings, operations, and industry trends, ensuring that training content is relevant and valuable.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and tools.
Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics.
Develop and implement innovative training resources and programs using education technologies to create digital and instructor-led offerings (e.g., digital content, video, e-learning, workshops, webinars, coaching sessions, etc.)
Advocate for clients by utilizing business acumen to shape new tools, services, and training resources that enhance the advisor experience.
Mentor and guide junior team members and colleagues as needed, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Stay current with financial industry developments and best practices in learning and development, incorporating emerging trends into training strategies.
Maintain detailed records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes tied to business goals and objectives.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience creating training and educational programs from the ground up using multiple modalities such as video, digital courses, technical documents/instructions, simulations, and business driven content for digital and instructor led training.
Expert in creating training using Articulate 360 and Storyline. Camtasia and Audidate for video production.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel and Power Point).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire client audiences across business affiliation models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proven track record of facilitating large group training sessions and webinars with elevated levels of participant engagement.
Adaptability and flexibility to navigate a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional maturity and presence, demonstrating the ability to self-manage and take initiative.
Commitment to continuous improvement, education technology practices and innovation in training advancements in corporate environments.
Preferences:
Experience in Financial Services and securities licenses Series 99, 7, 66 a plus
Certifications in Education Technologies a plus
Pay Range:
$72,500-$120,800/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
