For the past 3 years, we’ve proudly served the West Lake Hills community with fresh, flavorful Asian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails, and a warm, family-style atmosphere. About the RoleAs a Shift Lead , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our restaurant. Working closely with our General Manager, you’ll help maintain our high standards of service, cleanliness, and teamwork. You’ll lead by example, jump in wherever needed, and foster a positive, organized, and energetic environment for both staff and guests.
Whether you’re overseeing front-of-house operations, mentoring team members, or ensuring every guest experience is seamless, you’ll be an integral part of what makes Lee’s Kitchen & Cocktails special.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Uphold service standards by guiding employees through daily checklists.
- Train and develop new and existing staff according to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate critical shift information to management, including:
- Staff performance
- Guest concerns
- Food quality
- Facility issues
- Ordering needs
- Monitor sales flow and make labor adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Assist with weekly ordering, inventory, and updating training materials.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with guests, staff, and the local community.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and open communication.
We’re seeking someone who embodies our values and brings the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Training and team development experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine and spirits is a bonus.
- Ability to stay calm and effective in high-volume situations.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Physical ability to stay active for 8+ hours.
- Professional references required.
Requirements: - Current TABC Certification. - Texas Food Handler Certification. - Flexibility with scheduling. - 2+ years of restaurant experience preferred (serving, bussing, food running, or hospitality experience).
