Fiberglass Fitting Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV is hiring in Burkburnett, TX. We are seeking a motivated, dependable team player to join our Global Family for an immediate job opportunity in our Filament Wound Fitting Department.

This DAY SHIFT manufacturing position is routinely scheduled Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.

This position plays an integral role in ensuring Safe and Quality final finishing of NOV Fittings before shipment to our customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates any equipment needed to perform job

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision

Utilize safe work habits

Wear appropriate PPE

Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures

Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures

Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Three years of verifiable work history preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes

Ability to work overtime and shift work as required

Standing up to 12 hours daily

Walking up to 12 hours daily

Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily

Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily

Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly

Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily

Travel less than 10%
