RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some sources indicate 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekends every other weekend
• Patient ratio of 1:30 RN to patient
• Minimum 1 year of bedside case management experience required
• Meditech or HCA experience required
• Post acute care knowledge required
• Throughput experience preferred
• Work with EMR systems: Meditech/Midas
• Use computer and standard office equipment
• Perform discharge planning and care progression
• Conduct difficult conversations with families, patients, and collaborate with physicians on care plans
• Must have strong personality for challenging conversations
• Need to be adaptable and proactive
• Dress code: Navy scrubs with white lab coat or business casual with white lab coat, closed-toe shoes required (no crocs or fake nails allowed)

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides acute care services across multiple specialized units including ICU, Observation, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, Neurology, and Orthopedic departments. The facility employs a collaborative approach to patient care with a team of 15 registered nurses and 15 social workers working together to ensure optimal patient outcomes and discharge planning. The organization focuses on case management excellence and maintains modern technology systems to support efficient patient care coordination.
