Palmer Logistics is looking for skilled Janitorial Associate to join our dynamic team!
The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in a fast-paced setting. This position plays a vital role in our daily operations by ensuring that facilities, workspaces, and common areas are consistently clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. Pay Rate:
$16.50 - $17.50 per hour depending on experience and equipment knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as necessary.
- Gather and empty trash receptacles.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Assist warehouse in clean/dust racks, mop warehouse lines and maintain parking lot free from debris, if
- applicable.
- Dust furniture, walls and equipment, if applicable.
- Trim and maintain shrubbery, using mowers and hand trimmers, if applicable.
- Clean and polish furniture.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
- Follow procedures for the use of equipment, utensils and chemical cleaners as required.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, if applicable.
- Update cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 -3 years of sanitation experience.
- Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
