We are a growing independent small fleet owner looking to establish a long-term, foundational relationship with a true veteran professional. This is a 1099 contract position to start, running under a solid corporate authority. We are looking for a reliable, elite driver who values trust, leadership, and loyalty, and wants to grow alongside a stable business.

Operational & Lane Details:

Equipment: Premium 53ft Vented Dry Van paired with a brand-new 2026/2027 Volvo.

Lanes: Regular routes through the Midwest, Southeast, and West Coast. We intentionally avoid the Northeast region to keep your drop-and-hook or live unloads smooth.

Volume: Consistently hitting a minimum of 2,500 to 3,500 miles per week, running strictly within legal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

Freight Type: High-quality food-grade and general dry van freight. Pallet jack driver-assist loads occur rarely, but when they do, you are heavily compensated for the extra work.

Home Time & Schedule:

Engineered for OTR professionals who thrive on the road.

Schedule structure is roughly 1 month out at a time, running a 7 days on / 1 day off rhythm (accumulating 4 solid days off per month).

Actual time-off dates are negotiated directly with the owner to fit your life.

While we welcome any highly qualified applicant nationwide, we prefer drivers based out of or near major freight hubs, including:

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of verifiable OTR experience.

Safety Record: Spotless driving history with absolutely zero moving violations or accidents within the last 3 to 5 years.

Compliance: Strict adherence to FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and electronic logging.

Carrier Approval: Driver must be able to cleanly pass Oberman Logistics’ corporate background check, MVR screening, PSP safety report, and DOT drug screening.

Professionalism: A reliable, respectful attitude that matches our commitment to premium equipment and exceptional service.

Tanker Endorsed: Not immediately required. Must be willing to obtain it in the near future.
