Program Director I/LPHA
- Responsible for the unit’s compliance with all applicable community standards and contract requirements.
- Assures all workload measures are met and data accurately submitted to CARE.
- Responsible for the unit’s financial stability including approval of expenditures.
- Ensures that staff meet designated direct service and/or billing expectations.
- Provides clinical oversight of all cases and provides training to assist staff in the development of their jobs.
- Manages a small caseload (6) providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Represents the agency in the community as appropriate. (example: attend quarterly SART meetings)
Requires four (2) years of the required work experience to have been in an administrative, managerial or supervisory capacity.
Education:
Position requires a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, plus six (6) years of work experience. Licensure as an LPHA required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Possess a working knowledge of mental health treatment and diagnostics.
- Ability to work well with a variety of individuals including staff, community providers, consumers and the general public.
- Be able to communicate well with others in both an oral and written format.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to supervise 20 staff members.
- Have strong organizational skills and have the ability to delegate to others and then monitor the completion of tasks.
- Be able to travel locally and regionally
- Ability to learn about and implement trauma-informed care practices within the scope of work for the position.
- T he employee must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties and ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in Center policies and procedures.
