The Back of House staff are employees that work in the kitchen and are responsible for delivery of consistently prepared, high quality food. Kitchen Staff must understand and deliver food products based on company standards and recipes. Kitchen Staff must understand and deliver services guided by company standards and have the desire to go above and beyond to ensure every food product delivered to customers is of the highest quality. Kitchen Staff must be team players and willing to fulfill any and all roles and responsibilities required to successfully execute kitchen operations. Kitchen Staff duties include: dishwashing, cleaning, food preparation, food production, line order, line fry, performing store opening, refresh and closing tasks, setup and maintenance of work areas and any other tasks required by store Managers to meet operations needs. REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding of general kitchen safety
Understanding of basic food safety, health and sanitation requirements
Willingness to learn
Ability to take direction and work independently
Able to communicate with customers and employees
Able to read basic English tickets
Knowledge of the Fire Bowl Caf Procedures RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow health department guidelines and company polices regarding food and equipment safety
Fill orders as needed and per customer request
Examine items as they are completed to insure that the item was cooked according to customer request
Keep work station stocked with necessary equipment and food products
Assist in daily production of vegetables, noodles, and appetizers
Monitor cooked rice levels and take necessary action to correct problems
Clean and maintain the proper work condition of coolers
Maintain order and cleanliness of work area
Assist in the placement of all delivers insuring that all items are properly stored according to current health department standards
Complete opening, refresh, closing, and cleaning check list as prescribed by company
Fill in any subordinate roles as needed or prescribed by manager
Maintain order and cleanliness of work area
Maintain safe work environment by monitor and fixing any safety issues in a timely manner
Assist in extended duties as directed by management
Attend all meetings and training schedule by management Subordinate Roles:
